Bonnie & Clydes is an enchanting cafe located in downtown Salt Lake City. The vintage interior and cozy ambiance transport you back to the 1920s, making it a perfect spot for coffee lovers and casual diners alike. Customers rave about the exceptional service, highlighting staff members like Arto and Maddie, who embody warmth and attentiveness. One standout menu item is the Clyde Sandwich, featuring a delicious chicken cutlet, though some feel the balsamic dressing could be toned down. The cafe’s apple cinnamon French toast and Philly cheesesteak also receive glowing reviews for their rich flavors. Patrons appreciate the thoughtful presentation of dishes, which are as pleasing to the eye as they are to the palate. The atmosphere is equally praised, with lush greenery, comfortable seating, and a mix of casual and formal options catering to both study sessions and social gatherings. While some suggest moderating the volume of the background music, the overall vibe remains inviting. Bonnie & Clydes not only serves great food but creates a community feel, making visitors eager to return.

Very nice cafe in downtown! Love the vintage interior & cozy music playing in the background. Feels like you’re in the 1920s. Love the coffee cups for dine-in (pretty big size). Got the Clyde sandwich (balsamic is a little overpowering, but love the chicken cutlet, and great bread). Everything is presented so nicely. Comfortable seating, green plants, and all kinds of newspapers to read. Thank you Would love to come back here!

I'm on a new medication this week that effectively makes me diabetic, so I asked Arto (buff dude taking orders) a bunch of annoying questions, and he was super patient with me and did what he could so I got everything I wanted in my food :) Also, Rylee was super sweet when handing me my coffee and wiping tables and picking up stuff - she has the second most beautiful smile in the world and was so kind that I had to ask for everyone's name to leave an accurate review! Even Sara, the lead this morning, was high-fiving one of the clients, hugging her staff, and I overheard one of them tell her how much they love her! This place has the greatest atmosphere, phenomenal service, and everyone's real cool to vibe with- I hardly go out for coffee, but when I do, I love coming here! Barely my 4th time as a customer and I plan on being a regular in the near future :)

Adding this to my favorites list! Great atmosphere - allowed for focused study (the reason I went) while others were there with friends. I enjoyed their January special latte and "the becky" breakfast sandwich - no complaints. Casual and formal seating options available. Bathrooms also available. My one note was that they were playing the music very loud from the speaker I sat next to. I'm sure the goal was for the music to flood the room but it was too loud in any spot near the speaker.

I had the most delish apple cinnamon french toast and hot chocolate for breakfast! I also LOVE their Philly cheesesteak sandwich. The atmosphere is great and everyone who works there is so lovely.

Took my brother to Bonnie & Clyde’s for his birthday. We got coffee—phenomenal coffee btw—and food. He ordered the Club House Massacre and I got the Clyde. We also got a side of Parmesan fries and Cajun fries. We split the sandwiches, they were both really good. The Cajun fries were a bit too spicy for me (I don’t do spicy food), but my brother enjoyed them. The Parmesan fries were nicely seasoned and they each came with fry sauce. My brother also got a chocolate pastry (forget what it was called), but he said it was really good. They’re gonna open a speakeasy at the end of next month and I plan on going back to check it out and try out more food. Stay tuned

This is absolutely a 5/5 spot. From the moment I walked in I loved the vibe and ambiance of the place. This went perfectly with the great coffee and AWESOME food. I loved it so much I came back a 2nd time the next day. I will absolutely come back here the next time I’m visiting SLC. Over my two trips I got the Becky breakfast sandwich and the breakfast burrito. Both were great! I tried both the medium and dark roast drip coffee and enjoyed both. I typically brew my own pour over and their coffee delivered on quality and taste. Everyone needs to try one of their cronuts too... I had the chocolate and maple- you cannot go wrong!

Update: Bonnie & Clyde’s reached out to me to make it right. They not only offered to refund the meal that was not right, but they fed me breakfast... A delicious breakfast wrap. I appreciate their communication and the generous way they wanted to sincerely improve my experience. Accidents happen, and I think my original order was likely just a fluke. Original post: I was so excited to try the Club House Massacre sandwich. I LOVE turkey. When I got back to my hotel 10 minutes later, I opened my order and there was absolutely no turkey on the sandwich. Everything else was on there, but zero turkey. So sad. The fries were also really soggy and there was a lot of condensation inside the box, like they had been boxed for some time before they served them to me. Bummer. The girl that took my order was super nice, and the cafe and ambiance was so cute, but I was quite disappointed in my food.
